Manitou & Pike's Peak PennyCollector
The Pike's Peak Cog Railway travels from Manitou Springs, Colorado to the top of Pike's Peak at 14,110 ft. A cog railroad uses a gear, "cog wheel", meshing into a special rack rail (mounted in the middle between the outer rails) to climb much steeper grades than those possible with a standard adhesion railroad. The Pike's Peak Cog Railway has been taking passengers to the summit since 1890.
This tri-fold book holds 36 elongated pennies and 8 elongated quarters. A one-of-a-kind copper coin is sealed in the cover.
