Six Flags Marine World Retired Penny Set

Six Flags Discovery Kingdom has changed ownership several times. In 1996, it was bought by Premier Parks, (Six Flags Inc.), and in 1999 was renamed Six Flags Marine World. In 2007 the park was renamed Discovery Kingdom.

As a result of all these name changes, we have had to keep up with new penny designs which means we have some retired sets that are no longer available anywhere else. The PennyMen (parent company of PennyCollector.com) are starting to open the vaults and offer some of these retired designs to collectors that may have missed out while the machines were in the park. This 4-penny set (copper) is the first from the former Six Flags Marine World to be offered.
