One Whitehall Way Palm Beach, FL , 33480 Phone: 561-655-2833 Website The Flagler Museum has their penny press in the entrance to the Flagler Kenan Pavilion, which is the building built in 2005 to display Flagler's private railcar with beautiful views of Lake Worth. Visitors get their choice of four different designs: Flalger's Portrait; Over-Sea Railroad Emblem; Railcar No. 91; and the Facade of Whitehall (Flagler's residence built in 1902). This machine also imprints the reverse side of the penny with, "Flagler Museum, A National Historic Landmark". The Museum Store nearby is more than happy to make change to use the press!
If you are a kid and fill out the workbook given to you, a prize of 51 cents is awarded.
note: Whitehall and Railcar No. 91 designs roll a little short. |
